“We, the woman” is a movie consisting of five sketches made by Italian cinema masters: Luigi Zampa, Gianni Franciolini, Roberto Rossellini, Luchino Visconti oraz Alfredo Guarini. The directors construct a multiple portrait of those days women using real episodes from life of famous actresses, which in turn play themselves on the screen. In the novels one after another appear great Italian and world movie stars like Alida Valli, Ingrid Bergman, Isa Miranda and Anna Magnani. “We, the woman” is an interesting attempt to make a collage movie which allows us to see the fascinating woman cinema icons in situations far digressed from stereotypical imagination.
