Tadeusz Kantor was a Grate Artist. Today more and more Europeans are willing to recognize him as their grate artist. Why is this polish painter and theater artist so familiar to them? Why do they remember him better, than Poles? An attempt to answer these questions is a main theme of this film.

Graduated from History of Art and Polish Philology Faculties at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, and film realization study at Łódź Film School. Director, journalist, TV producer. Directed 150 documentaries and film reportages. Winner of international and polish film awards, for example at the Polish Film Festival in Los Angeles 2008, Los Angeles Eagle Documentary Award (for the film Pharmacy under the Eagle ), award at the Art Films Festival in Zakopane 1987 (for his film Me, the Master).
