Last of the cycle of films concerning Decalogue in the modern world. Two brothers receive an album with postage stamps as a heritage after their father. Initially they are not interested in a collection – none of them shares his father’s passion. When they are told that the collection is of a great value they are beginning to be interested in philately.  It is the first movie that Krzysztof Kieślowski and Zbigniew Zamachowski made together. The actor performs hand in hand with Jerzy Stuhr – as in their other famous film Three Colors: White. This part of Decalogue is different than the other parts, a the story of greed and madness acquires a characteristic of a grotesque.
