Feature debut of the master of naturalistic movie, Andrzej Kondratiuk. It is a story about a group of geologists searching for oil in south Poland. A young and ambitious engineer, Andrzej, is sure of his case and still looks for acknowledgement of his own value. On the other hand there is manager Skawiński, a solid professional who likes well organized work, and driver Miecio, a life loving joker. The film is a story about cooperation of these various characters. It is an attempt to explore an approach to life of than thirty years old people.
