The latest film directed by Łukasz Barczyk, with cooperation of an outstanding theater director Krzysztof Warlikowski and actors of the New Theater – Jacek Poniedziałek and Renate Jett. The main part in Italiani belongs to Krzysztof Warlikowski who acts for the first time. The film is a journey into an intimate world of a man, his relationship with family and closest people, an expedition down into pictures and feelings as personal as universal. It is a daring attempt to create a new visual language able to express basic feelings and emotions, exceeding conventional psychological movie. The film shows key memories of every man, as if they were a part of a myth growing and evolving during one’s lifetime.
