Michał is a retired railway worker, one of the descendants of polish settlers in Kaczyka in Romanian Bukovina. He dicovered his origins as a mature man, started to learn polish and opened a Polish House – a private museum for memorablia from the times of Kaczyka’s and its polish dwellers great past. He is conscious if both his age, and the gradual decline od his town, but he doesn’t give up.

DIRECTOR | Łukasz Czajka Political and Cultural studies graduate, works outside of those fields. Journalist and computer games artist. Screenwriting and directing is his passion. “A Place No More” is his first film.
REŻYSER | Anna Zuzanna Błaszczyk A filmmaker. Graduated from Łódź Film School. In 2006 started her own Production company Blaszanka. In 2011 received a Ministry of Culture of Poland fellowship to work on an experimental dance movie InSide.
