Cinemas. Old, old fashioned, already closed, transformed into shop, church, disco. Empty. Destroyed. Cinemas of memory. These images are not a mere documentation. The discipline of subjective eye, inspiration coming from these traces, walls and interiors becoming a source of artistic fulfillment. Registration of these places must be something more than a simple notation. These photographs draw on memories and stimulate reflection on the history of cinema, our past. These small cinemas are things of the past replaced by modern ones, mostly inside malls. Their aura and history dissappear. Therefore the main aim of this exhibition is to preserve this part of the film history
